Glasgow's Parks and Greenspaces:

Public Workshops

As Glasgow City Council develops the strategy for the city’s parks and green spaces across the next two years, they are looking to collect as many ideas and opinions, stories and suggestions as possible from park users to help shape their decisions. These four workshops are the initial consultation for the process. They are designed to be creative and informal, with ways for everyone to get involved, whether you are a daily dog walker or occasional sunbather!

All four workshops will be held at Exchange House, 231 George Street, Glasgow, G1 1RX. The workshops are all free to attend and you are welcome to attend as many as you wish. There will be light catering served at each workshop and children are welcome. Although each workshop is themed, they are all relevant for all park users.

The workshops will take place on:

Workshop One ‘Your Spaces' : Saturday 1st October 10am - 1pm

Workshop Two ‘Community Spaces': Tuesday 11th October 5.30pm - 7.30pm

Workshop Three ‘Ecological Spaces': Tuesday 25th October 5.30pm - 7.30pm

Workshop Four ‘Connected Spaces': Saturday 5th November 10am - 1pm

Please find attached here an invitation to all four workshops. Please share this with all your members and any colleagues or friends you think might be interested in attending. You are also welcome to share this event on social media.
